AFRIQUE DU SUD : L'ECONOMIE NOIRE

 

 

L'apartheid en Afrique du Sud était, bien entendu, aussi économique.

 

Si aujourd'hui, la constitution a été modifiée et si l'apartheid, dans les textes, n'existe plus, les séquelles sur la population noire sont catastrophiques : faible pouvoir d'achat, chômage et surtout manque crucial de formation professionnelle.

Face à cette situation, les noirs des townships réagissent. Ils peuvent aujourd'hui obtenir l'autorisation municipale d'ouvrir un petit commerce ou de vendre dans la rue.

 

On voit se développer ainsi un immense "marché noir", c'est "The Informal sector", l'économie parallèle sud-africaine.

 

Un sujet optimiste qui ne parle ni d'affrontements, ni de racisme, mais d'espoir.

Apartheid in South Africa is economic as well as racial.

 

If the South African constitution were amended today and apartheid existed no more, the consequences for the Black population would be catastrophic : weak purchasing power, unemployment and, above all, a crucial lack of professional development.

Facing this situation, Blacks from the townships are reacting. Today, they can obtain municipal authorization to open a small business or sell goods in the street.

 

We can see, therefore, the development of an immense "black market", oterwise known as the "Informal Sector", the South african parallel economy.
